Watercolour Floral Workshop - 5 September

Join me for a relaxed, beginner-friendly watercolour floral workshop 🌿

Perfect if you have never painted before, or if you've started your watercolour journey and would love some extra guidance.

We’ll begin by looking at the relationship between water and pigment using my Tea to Butter method, helping you understand different paint consistencies and how they behave on the paper.

We’ll then practise using different sizes of round brushes, exploring how changing the angle, pressure and amount of water can create a variety of shapes, strokes and marks. We’ll also explore mixing our own greens, learning how to adjust them to create warmer and cooler variations and a wider range of greens for our floral painting.

Along the way, we’ll practise wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry techniques, as well as layering to build colour and depth.

After a short tea and biccies break ☕🍪, we’ll bring everything together and paint our colourful floral bouquet, using the techniques we've practised throughout the workshop.

This workshop is designed to be relaxed, enjoyable and beginner-friendly, with plenty of individual guidance along the way.

All materials are provided – just bring yourself and enjoy a creative morning ✨

Workshop Booking Policy

Cancellations made more than 7 days prior to the workshop date are eligible for a full refund.

Cancellations made within 7 days of the workshop date will incur a 50% cancellation fee. Alternatively, you are welcome to transfer your booking to another person if you are unable to attend.

No-shows or non-attendance on the day of the workshop are not eligible for a refund.
