Based on my original watercolour painting

The Blue Swimmer Crab painting was inspired by our travels through South Australia, where we caught plenty of these striking crabs in the shallows. Their vivid blue shells and graceful shapes stood out against the sand and water, and I wanted to capture that mix of movement and colour in a loose, painterly way.

The artwork’s relaxed watercolour style lets the colours flow and blend naturally—just like the waves they come from—while still highlighting the crab’s unique patterns and vibrant tones.

Professionally printed by me on luxurious 100% cotton rag paper, each print captures the texture and luminosity of the original painting. The colour and detail are so rich that it often looks like an original piece. Each print is signed on the front with pencil, packaged by hand, and sent via Australia Post with tracking.
