Cairns is a tropical paradise brimming with character—from the lush rainforest and colourful reef to the cheeky creatures that call Far North Queensland home. This tea towel brings together a collection of local icons I’ve sketched and painted along the way: think curious cassowaries, vibrant reef fish, palm tree and crocodile, and a nod to the tropical plants that make the region so unique. A little tribute to Cairns’ wild charm, wrapped up in colour and fun.

And with my artwork on it, this isn’t just something pretty to look at—it’s a hardworking, everyday essential. Perfect for drying dishes, cleaning spills, or simply adding a splash of tropical cheer to your kitchen.

WHAT IS COTTON FLOUR SACK? 

Cotton flour sack tea towels are modelled after the thin woven cotton sack from the 1800’s that were used to hold grain and flour. These tea towels are super soft and have fantastic water absorbent capabilities. Being pure cotton they are not only biodegradable but also environmentally friendly. 

All tea towel designs are based on my original watercolour paintings or digital drawings.
