Egret – Tea Towel

There’s a quiet elegance to egrets—the way they move with such grace across the shallows, pausing to hunt or simply to watch the world. This design is based on an egret I photographed in Broome, its slender form and soft white plumage captured in watercolour. A little celebration of one of Australia’s most serene and striking waterbirds, brought to life in colour on fabric.

WHAT IS COTTON FLOUR SACK? 

Cotton flour sack tea towels are modelled after the thin woven cotton sack from the 1800’s that were used to hold grain and flour. These tea towels are super soft and have fantastic water absorbent capabilities. Being pure cotton they are not only biodegradable but also environmentally friendly. 

All tea towel designs are based on my original watercolour paintings or digital drawings.
